Application
- Passenger Vehicle Wiring Harness: Produce high-flex, thin-wall insulated cables for interior control, lighting, and infotainment systems with consistent OD tolerance.
- Commercial & Heavy-Duty Trucks: Manufacture robust multi-core cables rated for vibration, oil resistance, and wide temperature ranges.
- Electric Vehicle (EV) Battery Cables: Process large-section copper or aluminum conductors used in high-voltage battery packs and motor drive circuits.
- Sensor & Signal Cables: Produce fine-pitch, shielded twisted-pair cables for ABS, ADAS, and CAN bus wiring with minimal signal interference.
- Charging Infrastructure: Manufacture flexible, high-current EV charging cables with superior bending fatigue resistance.
- Automotive Lighting Systems: Process ultra-thin cables for LED strip lighting, headlamp assemblies, and indicator wiring.
Advantage
- Automotive-Grade Precision: Servo-driven feeding and stranding systems deliver dimensional accuracy that consistently meets LV-112, FLRY-B, and ISO 6722 conductor tolerances.
- High Throughput, Low Downtime: Quick-change tooling and automated reel loading reduce changeover to under 15 minutes — critical for high-mix automotive production.
- Integrated Quality Control: Inline spark testers, laser diameter gauges, and defect-marking systems catch issues before they reach assembly.
- EV-Ready Design: Capable of processing large-section (up to 95 mm²) aluminum and copper conductors required by next-generation EV platforms.
- Low Scrap Rate: Precision tension control and active caterpillar traction minimize wire break events and oversize rejects.
- Data Connectivity: OPC-UA and EtherNet/IP interfaces enable full MES/SCADA integration for production traceability and predictive maintenance.
Material & Structure
The core frame of our automotive cable equipment is constructed from heavy-gauge welded steel with vibration-damping epoxy coating, ensuring long-term rigidity under continuous multi-shift production. Load-bearing shafts and bobbins are precision-machined from hardened alloy steel, with tolerance verified by CMM before assembly.
Extrusion screws and barrels are fabricated from bi-metallic hardened steel (bimetallic barrel), offering exceptional wear resistance when processing abrasive automotive compounds such as XLPE, PTFE, or halogen-free polyolefin insulation. The electrical cabinet uses IP54-rated enclosures with filtered ventilation to protect sensitive servo drives and PLC boards from dust and coolant mist common in cable factories.
- Main frame: Q235 / ST52 welded steel, powder-coated
- Extruder barrel: Bimetallic hardened steel, HRC 60–65
- Guide pulleys: Polished hardened steel or ceramic-coated
- Control cabinet: IP54, stainless steel inner panel
- Capstan surface: Hard chrome-plated or rubber-lined (model-specific)
